Getting Involved

Fresno Housing Authority encourages all Fresno County residents to be actively engaged in their neighborhoods and in the broader community. By contributing their unique ideas, perspectives, and knowledge to local organizations and elected bodies, residents in public housing and also Housing Choice Voucher participants can – and do – help to make Fresno the vibrant community it is. Within public housing, residents can participate on Resident Councils; within schools, residents are encouraged to play a role in Parent Teacher Associations (PTAs). Fresno Housing Authority supports residents and voucher holders to participate in neighborhood groups, on school boards and city councils, and to join nonprofit boards of directors.
